We all know that it is important to have good tires on the car, almost everyone knows the trick to see if the tires need to be replaced. But what kind of tires should you buy? Watch this video about MO® tires, also known as Mercedes-Original® tires.
When should I replace my tires? The video explains it well, but we’ll repeat it anyway.
MO® tires are tires designed and manufactured for specific Mercedes-Benz models. They match the make and age of your car, which helps take the stress out of deciding which tire is right for your car, because MO® tires are already designed for that.
That’s all well and good, but it doesn’t help you if you don’t know when to change your tires. If you don’t know the penny trick, here’s an easy way to find out. All you need is a dime or quarter in your car. Take a penny.
Insert the fastener between your tire tread and Lincoln’s base. If part of the main Lincoln is covered by the tire, you do not need to change your tire.
If you can see all of Lincoln’s head, you have a 2/32″ or less leg. This means you need to change your tires right away.
Note: If you are using a quarter and foot to touch Washington’s head, you have at least 4/32 inch left. This means you don’t have to change your tires.
If you think your tires need replacing, it’s always best to take them to a shop to have them properly inspected. Where can I get my tires replaced near Phoenix, Arizona?
